Freely give

Freely give …

It's amazing how sometimes the greatest blessings go unnoticed in our daily lives, such as waking up with health, eating three or more times a day, having our children with us (even in the summer when we do not know what to do with them) but it’s not until we go through a difficult situation that we start to appreciate this, as they say, no one knows what they have until it’s lost, right?

I once heard a comment on the radio, and the announcer asked: did you thank God the night before, what would happen if you woke up today having only the things that you gave thanks for last night? Oops! I thought, it's true, sometimes even when we pray and present our petitions before God, how many times do we say thank you, for my children, my husband, my parents, etc... We always complain but we don’t always appreciate what we do have.

The Bible tell us freely give, freely you have received, we cannot give what we don’t have, but this shows us how much God gives us, I believe that when we stop complaining about what we don’t have and begin to give thanks to God for what He gives us, it is then that we can be sensitive to the needs of others, when we take our eyes off our person, we see how much we can help others, how many things we have that others do not. More blessed is to give than to receive, when we practice this principle we stand in the right place to give and to receive as a result, it says in the book of Proverbs that to God lends whoever is kind to the poor, so when give to someone that have a need we are lending to God, and God pays? Of course and 100 for 1!

This video is a bit of the work is being done as Moms Against Hunger Mexico, I hope you can see it along with me and ask God to help us be a blessing to others.
