We have just begun...

MOMS AGAINST HUNGER, MEXICO

In June last month, I had the privilege of being named the National Director of Moms Against Hunger (MAH) Mexico, this has been a great blessing for me, the fulfillment of a dream and a desire that has been in my heart since God give me the opportunity to serve in His work in the year 2002, since then we have been doing the work of feeding the needy with the resources at hand, thank God that He has provided people who support and collaborate with this cause.
Moms Against Hunger is an international foundation led by Dr. Gayla Holley, who has done an outstanding job bringing food to the neediest areas like Haiti, Fiji, Guatemala, Mexico of course, among many others, Dr. Gayla's mission is to give children and mothers richly nutritious food, since she knows that moms are the greatest motivational force for their children and feeding is always a natural response of women.

Our Foundation, distributes food, which has been formulated to provide the perfect source of sustenance for malnourished children, fortified with 51 percent of vegetable protein, 21 minerals and vitamins and 9 dehydrated vegetables.

We started to work bringing food to an area where children have been affected because of the violence in our city, many of their parents have been killed or are in jail, and every week we took food, not only for the children but even for their mothers and grandmothers who always go with them.

At the same time we are supporting a foundation called "Pan de Vida" (bread of life), which have a elderly home called "The grandparents' house" where they receive old adults who have been abandoned or have no family, they give them a home where they can live with dignity the last days of their life. In addition they also have a children home for about 26 children, they have received with much love by her team of volunteers, they feed them, educate them, show them love and values that will help them to become healthy individuals.

God bless you.
